Questions

Common questions

Do I have to talk about everything that happened?

No. You set the pace, and you decide what to share and when.

For many people, yes. It also depends on your situation and safety at home, which is one of the first things to discuss.

Safety comes first. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. You can also reach the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.
